Chapter 2
In this chapter, we took a deeper look into how edge analytics works. We looked at some of the sensors we may use to measure the world around us, as well as a few of the devices that may serve as our edge devices. Part of the chapter was devoted to looking at some of the amazing microcontrollers available on the market today. As these microcontrollers become more and more powerful, we will certainly see a day when they will replace computers with operating systems as the brains behind an edge analytics application.
