How would 5G enhance our edge analytics applications?

Higher bandwidth and lower latency are improvements to any network application. In the case of our edge analytics applications, the ability to communicate quickly with other edge devices allows us to build applications very sensitive to time, such as robotics applications. However, the whole point of edge analytics is to move processing to the edge to gain improvements in speed and reliability. Cellular communication may not be worth the cost if our edge analytics application only needs to send data to the cloud periodically.
