Connecting to Azure IoT Hub with the Device Explorer tool
If you were to explore the documentation on the Azure portal, you will find Azure IoT Hub tutorials that use the Azure Cloud Shell from the portal. Personally, I prefer to use non-portal tools as it demonstrates the things part of the Internet of Things more accurately. Microsoft built the Device Explorer tool for Windows for such a purpose. Let's begin:
- To install the Device Explorer tool, navigate to https://github.com/Azure/azure-iot-sdk-csharp/releases/tag/2018-3-13 and locate the SetupDeviceExplorer.msi file at the bottom of the page.
