Cloud-based interface
The Azure cloud-based interface allows the user to manage and monitor edge IoT devices.
The cloud service allows us to do the following:
- Creation and configuration of a workload to be run on a specific device
- Sending out a workload to a set of devices
- Monitoring of workloads running on field devices
We will cover more of this in Chapter 4, Working with Microsoft Azure IoT Hub, as we get some hands-on experience with Azure IoT Edge.
