Cellular technologies for edge analytics communication

For edge analytics applications where access to a Wi-Fi-connected internet router is available, connection to the outside world is relatively simple. For more remote applications, other types of communications technologies are required. We will look at some of those technologies in the remaining sections of this chapter. We will first start with cellular data and explain the importance of 5G technology for IoT and edge analytics.
