I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Unlike some versions of Microsoft Windows, OS X uses the Dashboard space to present applets to the user (known as widgets in Mac-speak). However, with a little hacking you can also put widgets on the desktop. It’s not quite like Windows because the widgets stay on top of every other window, rather than on just the desktop, but for those with large monitors it’s an excellent way of keeping useful widgets such as the time and date visible at all times.
Setting Up
