I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

We discuss in another tip how to insert your signature into PDFs (Tip 356, Add Your Signature to Docs). However, the system can also be used to insert hand-drawn sketches like maps or diagrams into documents. Just hold the drawing up to the camera instead of your signature, and then resize it appropriately once it’s inserted into the document—the drawing will be captured in surprisingly high resolution that makes it suitable for inclusion, even in documents intended for printing.
It’s not possible to append such sketches to existing image files, although you can add textboxes and various other annotations to images—just click Tools→Annotate and select an option.
