| Tip 319 | Save PDFs Automatically to a Folder |
Macs are extremely PDF friendly, to the extent that you can output just about any document as a PDF: click File→Print in any application that outputs images or documents, and select the PDF drop-down button at the bottom left of the dialog box.
If you regularly output PDFs to a particular folder, you might be annoyed that you have to navigate to the folder each time you want to save a PDF there.
Luckily, there’s a simple solution that will add the folder as an option in the PDF drop-down list within Print dialog boxes. Selecting it will automatically create the PDF there.
Alternatively, or additionally, you can create a magical folder that will convert any file placed into it into a PDF.
