You Mac will offer to remember login details for applications and websites (see Tip 187, Find Forgotten Passwords ). However, you might find that passwords no longer automatically appear when you’re logging into websites or that the passwords somehow become corrupted so they’re no longer accepted. Here’s how to try to fix that.
Repairing the Keychain
Start the Keychain Access utility (open Finder, select the Applications list, and then double-click Keychain Access in the Utilities folder), and click Keychain First Aid on the application menu.
