The Stickies application is one of the hidden gems of your Mac’s built-in software list. You can find it in the Applications list within Finder. The app borrows from the real-life sticky notes, and you can stick virtual notes anywhere on the desktop. Whatever you type on them is automatically saved across reboots.
Sometimes I want to make a note of text on a web page, but this can be a cumbersome experience—I have to highlight the text, copy it, switch to Stickies, and create a new note before I can paste in the text.
