When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
| Tip 359 | Set the Default Operating System |
If you have Microsoft Windows installed on your Mac alongside OS X, you might always want to boot to it rather than to OS X. Holding down Option when booting will offer a choice of operating systems, but to make Windows the default boot-time choice on your computer, open System Preferences (Apple menu→System Preferences), click the Startup Disk icon, and select the Windows option in the listing. Then hit Restart to restart your computer and make the change permanent.
To revert to OS X being the default boot-time choice, boot to your Mac installation and repeat the previous steps, this time selecting the Mac hard disk in the list before clicking the Restart button.
