You can set an event to occur repeatedly, such as every day or every week, which can help you achieve a goal. For example, to remind yourself to stop smoking or lose weight you could do the following:
Start iCal.
Create an event that lists a goal, such as Check weight or Stop smoking.
Select Edit ▸ Edit Event (or press
-E). A window appears, letting you modify the chosen event (see Figure 20-1).
Click the repeat pop-up menu, as shown in Figure 20-8, and choose a time interval, such as Every day or Every week.
Create a reminder (message, file, or email).
