Clipping a Web Page
Your first step is to find a web page that displays interesting information that will likely change, such as a news site. Once you clip part of a web page, you can later view your Web Clip using Dashboard.
To create a Web Clip, follow these steps:
Click the Safari icon on the Dock. (If the Safari icon does not appear on the Dock, you can double-click the icon in the Applications folder.) The Safari window appears.
Find a web page that displays frequently changing information, such as sports scores or headline news.
Select File ▸ Open in Dashboard or click the Web Clip button. (The Web Clip button displays scissors and a dotted rectangle icon in the upper-left corner of the Safari window.) The entire web page darkens, except for ...
