Many people are familiar with languages that are written left to right. However, many other languages are normally written from right to left, such as Arabic and Hebrew. To type in these languages, you may need a special word processor such as Nisus Writer (http://www.nisus.com/) or Mellel (http://www.redlers.com/) that allows right-to-left typing.
As an alternative, you can configure the free TextEdit program that comes with your Macintosh to type right to left. Here's how to use TextEdit to type right to left:
Click the Finder icon on the Dock. The Finder window appears.
