Chapter 38. Saving Research Information from a Web Page

Almost everyone uses the Internet to research topics for work, for school, or just for fun (so you can avoid doing anything for work or school). Of course, it's easy to find information on the Internet. The hard part is finding a way to store that information so you can find, share, and use it again.

You can print out a web page or save the page as a file to view and print out at your leisure. Both methods work, but they can be clumsy, because they often save (or print) ads or web page links that you may not want.

You can also send the information on a web page to someone else. Rather than printing the page and mailing it, or saving the page as a file and sending it as an attachment to an email ...
