Build a Toolbar

To create a toolbar in Excel:

  1. Choose Tools → Customize → Toolbars. Excel displays the Toolbars tab of the Customize dialog box.

  2. Click New. Excel display the New Toolbar dialog.

  3. Type a name for the toolbar and click OK. Excel creates a new, empty toolbar.

  4. Click the Commands tab, select a category, and drag items from the Commands list to the toolbar as shown in Figure 19-12.

  5. Right-click any button on the new toolbar to rename the button, assign a macro, or change the button image, as shown in Figure 19-13.
