After you craft your Amazon page to encourage readers to buy your e-book (as described in Chapter 13) or set up a sales page on your website (as explained in Chapter 10), you need to bring potential readers to that page. If no one knows that your e-book exists, they can’t consider buying it.

Even if you’re no technowhiz, you’ve probably heard of Facebook and Twitter. They’re social networking websites, where people gather online and make new connections. Facebook now has nearly a billion active users (as of the summer of 2012), and Twitter has over 150 million. Both are useful sites for building your network.
