Color is not the only ownable element in our brand experience
arsenal, however. Obviously, the brand logo becomes an ownable
feature when done right. There are many cases where marketers
rely on their logo and the design of their logo to create ownable
identities and experiences from touchpoint to touchpoint:
• The red target in the Target store logo has become an
iconic, pop culture symbol of smart shopping.
• The yellow arches of McDonald’s instantly draw families
in for a quick bite to eat.
• The arm and hammer in the Arm & Hammer logo
instantly communicates purity, freshness, and strength.
