PartitionMagic
Unlike the other partitioning programs I've described here, PartitionMagic isn't a standard part of any specific OS (although a stripped-down version of it does come with BeOS). Instead, it's a utility you can purchase separately. This program runs under DOS and Windows, but the PartitionMagic CD comes with tools to build working OpenDOS boot floppies from which you can run the DOS version of the program if you want to use the tool on a system that contains neither DOS nor Windows. There are versions of these tools that run from assorted OSs, including Linux and OS/2.
