Performing hardware upgrades can be a challenging task, even on a single-OS computer. Doing the same on a multi-OS machine multiplies the challenge by the number of OSs installed. Fortunately, OS publishers have been slowly improving driver installation methods for years, so the task is usually manageable on modern OSs. The main keys to successfully performing such an upgrade are to carefully research the products for OS compatibility before making a purchase and to be careful and diligent when performing the upgrade. Give yourself enough time, and be sure to read the documentation for every OS.
