I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Using FTP for Cross-Platform Data Exchange
Most of this book focuses on the use of multiple OSs on a single computer. This chapter and the next, however, branch out into the realm of integrating your stable of OSs into a networked environment. The network could be one you maintain at home for convenience or a large network maintained by your employer. In any event, it is often important that you be able to use exotic OSs in a network, and these two chapters should help you attain that goal.
