I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
BeOS
BeOS uses a fairly straightforward installation process, but it is hobbled by weak hardware support. When you install BeOS, it is particularly important that you check that your hardware is supported by the OS. The vast majority of BeOS drivers come with the OS itself; it is unlikely you'll find BeOS drivers from the hardware manufacturer. Before you scrap some piece of hardware, though, check http://www.be.com/software/beware for a driver.
