OS/2
IBM's OS/2 is both similar to and different from Microsoft's OSs. OS/2 uses drive letters and assigns them in much the same way as do the Microsoft OSs. OS/2 can also use FAT natively. OS/2 doesn't support VFAT long filenames, however, nor does it support FAT-32. Instead, OS/2 uses its own filesystem, HPFS, to enable long filename support and various other benefits. Its boot requirements are different from those of Microsoft's OSs, as well.
Partition Requirements
