Preventive maintenance as a business

Manufacturers are building advanced predictive maintenance solutions that they package with their products and are widening their business focus into providing broader maintenance activities. For example, large manufacturers of elevators and people movers commonly found in public places maintain anything from tens to hundreds of thousands of these machines annually.
