The prescriptive analytics is like a recommendation engine to help improve the outcomes. We are all familiar with the recommendations that Amazon provides for similar books to buy and Netflix that provides recommendations for movies to watch. Likewise, prescriptive analytics provides the models that decide what is the best course of action to take in an Industrial Internet setting and then informs or advice the human operator about it.
