So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

us far, we have taken the reader through what is big data, some of its
history, the tools used, the statistical methods, an overview of data, as well
as some of the advantages and disadvantages of big data. e intent was to
provide a reasonably specic overview to understand where to be skeptical
of breathless reporting on big data while demonstrating how big data may
be a valuable contribution to an organization. Furthermore, we hope, by
drawing in examples from many disciplines, we helped illustrate the way
in which business, science, medicine, and other elds are facing related
