So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Communications between users through a data network requires several forms of addressing. Typically, two addresses are required: (a) a physical address, also called a data link address, or a media access control (MAC) address on a LAN, and (b) a network address. Other identifiers are needed for unambiguous end-to-end communications between two users, such as upper layer names and/or port addresses.
