Liking
Most people like to be liked and they return the favor by liking those who like them. Salespeople know that a buyer might be more willing to buy from a seller who they like. This does not mean that salespeople that do not look good make no sales. They know that if they show signs of liking the buyer, the buyer will like them and this creates an environment for successful sales.
