When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Old organizations
Another target that social engineers are always ready to pounce on is any organization that is old. Most young companies will have new staff and the new staff will ensure that they lay down some fundamentals such as strict IT policies and advanced security mechanisms to prevent many cyber threats from happening. Old companies, on the other hand, are targeted because they are likely culprits of using legacy IT systems that are vulnerable and keep crashing. There is at least a chance that they will have a computer that has been in use for decades and is normally scheduled for some sort of maintenance. Therefore, it will be easy for the social engineer to take the pretext of a contractor sent to repair a couple of old computers. ...
