I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

• SharePoint 2010 is a complex product line that can be many things to many different companies, but IT should have a clear understanding of how SharePoint will be leveraged and which tools will be provided to the user community.
• Help leverage SharePoint 2010 in your organization by understanding the integration points with the Office 2010 products, and learning more about compatibility with Office 2007 and previous versions.
• Only deploy those service applications that are required to satisfy individual business requirements of the project.
• Become familiar with the new SharePoint 2010 Administration tools, especially PowerShell scripting, as it is critical for administration of a SharePoint environment.
