I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Summary
This chapter spends a bulk of its time reviewing the integration of Excel and SharePoint, especially using the Excel Services tools because this is such an important capability of SharePoint 2010. Many knowledge workers and managers still “live” in Excel and manage much of the most critical information in workbooks, so understanding what Excel Services can and can’t do is important for SharePoint power users and administrators. A brief overview of Access Services and Visio Graphics Services was provided. Access Services can be used to create very complex applications, such as the Project Web Database that is reviewed in this chapter, but coverage of this topic in depth is beyond the scope of this chapter.
