I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

• A recommended best practice for a farm or site collection administrator is to become familiar with the process of creating metadata columns in lists and libraries and the range and options available for the different column types.
• Set standards for document libraries and lists in terms of the standard metadata columns added to ensure consistency across libraries in one site or across multiple sites.
• Calculated columns support a wide range of mathematical functions, and Excel users can leverage their skills creating complex formulas in SharePoint 2010.
