Summary

This chapter touches on many of the different types of workflows provided in the SharePoint 2010 product line, and gives two detailed examples to familiarize readers with the process of creating and using workflows. Information is also provided to administrators pertaining to the management of workflows and for controlling SharePoint Designer 2010 use. Testing workflows can be challenging due to the requirements of having multiple user accounts involved in the process, but having a solid foundation on the out-of-the-box workflows and an understanding of what can be accomplished in SharePoint Designer 2010 will help administrators and power users more efficiently create useful workflows.
