It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Creating HTTP Proxy Applications
If you've assigned a minimum of one Managed Server to a cluster and if you have any Managed Servers that are not part of a cluster, WebLogic Server will display the Creating HTTP Proxy Applications screen next. You can use this screen to create a clustered HTTP proxy application that runs on the specified Managed Server. This is useful because in most clustered deployments, a separate web server (or a bank of web servers) sits in front of the cluster. Such a web server or load balancer will efficiently serve up static content and distribute requests evenly across a cluster of WebLogic Servers hosting more complex application logic.
