So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Using the Administration Console
To build a cluster through the Administration Console, you first configure the Managed Servers that are going to be the nodes in the new cluster and then configure the cluster itself. If you are a developer looking to create a simple cluster to test your applications, you can create the entire cluster on a single machine. The basic principles of configuring a cluster are the same whether you use one or many machines. Let's simply use one of the WebLogic Server sample domains (wl_server) to learn how to build a simple cluster whose members are all on a single machine.
