You can configure load balancing either with an external load balancer or by using the WebLogic Server proxy plug-in. You can use the simple HttpClusterServlet that comes with WebLogic Server as a proxy plug-in for WebLogic Server. The plug-in maintains a list of server instances that host a clustered servlet or JSP, and it forwards HTTP requests to each cluster member on a round-robin basis.
