Deployment in a Cluster
Chapter 8 explains WebLogic Server application deployments in detail. In this chapter, I explain some cluster-specific deployment details. WebLogic Server deploys applications in two phases: in the first phase, it distributes applications to targets and validates the deployment. Once the validation process is complete, the second phase of the deployment begins, in which the applications are deployed on the server instances and made available to the clients. Check to ensure that all cluster members are running and that you can reach them with the Admin Server before you start the deployment process.
