I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Monitoring with SNMP
It's very common to use the SNMP protocol to send monitoring data to enterprise management systems. The popular Nagios network monitoring tool is SNMP based, as are several other monitoring tools. SNMP-based monitoring helps orchestrate interactions with other SNMP-based devices such as load balancers. You can use the SNMP protocol by installing SNMP agents on each of the Managed Servers or systems to transmit data to the management system. The SNMP agents collect the information from the WebLogic Server MBeans.
