Monitoring with SNMP
It's very common to use the SNMP protocol to send monitoring data to enterprise management systems. The popular Nagios network monitoring tool is SNMP based, as are several other monitoring tools. SNMP-based monitoring helps orchestrate interactions with other SNMP-based devices such as load balancers. You can use the SNMP protocol by installing SNMP agents on each of the Managed Servers or systems to transmit data to the management system.
