When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Starting and Stopping a Data Source
You can start or stop a data source from the Administration Console in the following manner:
1. In the left-hand pane of the console, expand Services and select Data Sources.
2. Click the data source you want to start or stop by selecting the data source in the Summary of JDBC Data Sources page.
3. Click the Control tab.
4. In the Control page, select the data source you want to start or stop.
5. In the Deployed Instances of this Data Source table, select the server where the data soruce is deployed. You have two choices here, depending on the current state of the data source:
