Creating a Generic Data Source
This section first shows you how to create a Generic Data Source using the Administration Console. You can also create data sources with WLST scripts. Several configuration aspects are similar for a generic data source, a multi data source, and a GridLink data source. Once I finish the creation of a generic data source, I'll explain the relevant features that you need to configure for the GridLink and the multi data sources.
1. In the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Lock & Edit.
2. In the left-hand pane of the console, expand Services and select Data Sources.
