I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Understanding Server Log File Maintenance
In a server running in production mode, the server automatically rotates the server log file when it reaches 500KB in size. When you restart a server running in production mode, it doesn't rotate the local server log. However, a server running in development mode will automatically rotate the log file each time you start the server, as well as when the server log file reaches the 500KB size limit. By default, the server renames log files by attaching a sequentially increasing suffix to the log file.
