It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Exploring the Installation Directories
Now that you've seen how easy it is to install WebLogic Server, let's explore the installation directories a bit. As I mentioned during the installation steps, you have two major home directories—Oracle Middleware Home and Oracle WebLogic Server Home. The Oracle Middleware Home directory is where all the WebLogic Server and other middleware product files are located—it's the top-level directory for all Oracle Fusion Middleware products, including the Oracle WebLogic Server. In our example here, there's only a single middleware product, which of course is the Oracle WebLogic Server.
