Define Success
Introduction
The definitions of success for any performance improvement effort
and the related criteria for evaluating success can vary greatly,
depending on the individual perspective of the evaluator. Program
administrators, initiative sponsors, initiative managers, support staff,
presidents, CEOs, workplace supervisors, second-generation
clients, and others are each likely to have a unique perspective
regarding the results associated with success (and how their objec-
tives should guide your decisions). Criteria for defining success
