Native File Formats
Welcome to the future: Unless you are submitting a vector file for use in a workflow that doesn’t support native Illustrator files (such as a word-processing program or some sign-cutting workflows), there’s no reason to save an Illustrator file as EPS in the current environment, and a number of reasons in favor of using the native Illustrator (.AI) format.
