So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Separations Preview
Viewing individual inks allows you to check an Illustrator file for extraneous spot colors. Choose Window > Separations Preview to open the Separations Preview panel, and then check the Overprint Preview option so you can view all separations (Figure 10.29). You can control the visibility of individual printing inks by clicking the eye icons next to ink names. This is much easier (and faster) than printing separated lasers. Think of the trees you’ll save.
