I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
InDesign Files as Artwork
You can place one InDesign file into another as artwork, which opens up some interesting possibilities. For example, ads submitted as InDesign files can be placed in the same way you’d traditionally place AI or EPS files, but with greater editability. Just choose File > Place and import the InDesign file. Move it, scale it, and crop it as you would any artwork. The Links panel lists the InDesign file, along with any artwork linked to it (Figure 11.17). The artwork names are indented under the placed InDesign file name to highlight their dependent relationship.
