So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Live Effects
Illustrator offers a number of imaginative live effects that allow you to transform a simple object into something much more interesting with just a few clicks. Effects are “live,” which means that you can modify how an object looks by editing effects in the Appearance panel, without permanently altering the object itself. You can also hide or remove an effect to return an object to its original appearance.
