Saving Files with Multiple Artboards

If you’re planning to place an Illustrator file containing multiple artboards into InDesign, just save the file as a native Illustrator AI file. When you choose File > Place in InDesign, check the Show Import Options check box in the dialog: A second dialog appears that allows you pick which artboard (or range of artboards) you want to place (Figure 10.35). You can also specify how the content is cropped: Choose from Bounding Box, Art, Crop, Trim, Bleed, or Media.
