I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Getting Help
Visio displays an extensive Help system. Like most other Office products, the Help menu enables you to view and search for help topics by the Help Contents, Answer Wizard, and Index. In addition, Visio enables you to access context sensitive help for individual shapes.
To retrieve context-based help for a shape:
Right-click on a shape.
Click the Help command in the Shortcut Menu.
The Help window appears, with that Stencil's help already displayed.
Tip
By holding your mouse pointer over a shape, a pop-up box appears displaying a short description of that shape. Figure 1.11 is an example of the information box for a shape.
