When your Visio diagram is generated, the default setting opens the newly created HTML and associated files in the Web browser.
Hyperlinks on your Visio diagram are created with a Web technology called Image Maps. If you created any amount of hyperlinks in your Visio diagram, they become alive and functional with the browser. You can click to various Web pages within your Visio Web Page collection, access any files you linked to, or any external Web Sites you addressed. Shapes you designated with multiple hyperlinks assign the default with the image map.
